Winter is the season of rest and renewal. Honor the Spirit of
the North and join us in a beautiful, secluded canyon of ancient Rock Beings, soaring Bald Eagles and a winding, nurturing
river. Experience the teachings of the North as you slow down and take time to dream your dream; as
you take time to slow down and tune in to the wisdom of the ancestors; as you take time to give thanks for the abundance in
your life. Listen that you may realize how to release limiting patterns
and behaviors that hold you back from being all that you came to be. Spend time alone so you may
look within and find the best ways to nurture yourself in this season of rest; so you can return to your world relaxed, refreshed
and rejuvenated.
The Monastery of Christ in the Desert is a safe, sacred space with individual rooms that provide solitude
and simple comfort in which to seek a deeper connection with Great Spirit.
Your arrival on the 13th will give you a chance to settle in before we begin the retreat the next day. We will open
the energy for this retreat with a Sweat Lodge Purification Ceremony on Sunday the 14th at the Center. On Monday we will travel
to the Monastery, stay for the week and come back to the Center on the 19th. The 20th we will choose something to do
in Santa Fe. Please make your departure travel arrangements no earlier than the 21st.
